Bismark Aduah is currently at the Winneba Local Prison for theft.
Speaking to Crime Check, Bismark said he had been in a relationship with his 27-year-old girlfriend, Rebecca Badu, for nine years.
The couple had reportedly lived together in Ashaiman for the past two years.
Bismark claimed Rebecca’s mother disapproved of their relationship and did not like him.
According to him, he and Rebecca returned to her mother’s house to retrieve their belongings but broke the door and lock to gain entry.

They later moved the items to Rebecca’s father’s residence.
However, Rebecca’s mother reported the matter to the Police, leading to the arrest and detention of both of them.
Bismark said the Afransi Court sentenced him to five months in prison and imposed a fine of ¢1,560.00
He remains in prison because he is unable to pay the fine.
Rebecca was sentenced to one month and two weeks in prison.
Bismark said he paid her fine, resulting in her release.
He maintains that he was only trying to retrieve belongings he had bought for his girlfriend.
