The Ghana Police Service has arrested two suspects, including an alleged gang leader, in connection with the robbery attack that led to the death of a player of Berekum Chelsea.
In a statement, police confirmed that one of the suspects sustained injuries during a shootout with intelligence officers during the arrest operation and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital under police guard.

The arrests mark a significant breakthrough in investigations into the deadly attack, which shocked the football community and heightened security concerns among travellers.
Police say investigations into the incident are ongoing, with efforts underway to identify and apprehend other accomplices believed to be connected to the robbery.
