The Ashanti South Regional Police Command has arrested six suspects in connection with a series of robbery and sexual assault cases reported in Juaso in the Ashanti Region.

The arrests followed an intelligence-led operation carried out on January 8, 2026, targeting a group believed to be operating as an organised criminal syndicate.
The suspects have been identified as David Adusah, also known as Vibes; Samuel Amantor (Road); Andrew Odei (Salinco); Sharif Mohammed (Isco); Joseph Addo (Moves); and Chidi Arinze (Orga Happiness).

Police said searches conducted at the suspects’ residences led to the retrieval of 49 mobile phone covers, a bayonet case, a green dress resembling a military uniform, and a photograph allegedly showing the group’s leader dressed in military-style camouflage. A Toyota RAV4 vehicle, believed to have been used during the commission of the crimes, was also retrieved and impounded.

During interrogation, police say the suspects admitted involvement in the reported offences.
On January 12, 2026, the suspects were arraigned before the court and remanded into lawful custody to reappear on January 28, 2026, to allow police to complete investigations.

The Ghana Police Service has assured the public that investigations are ongoing and that all persons found culpable will be made to face the full rigours of the law.
