The Night of Great Talents Boxing Show at the Dezone Beach Resort, Korle Gonno on November 19 and November 20 lived up to expectations.
The two-day event was due to a downpour Saturday night, preventing the main bouts from happening.
The exciting package was put together by the Bronx Promotions in collaboration with Swavy Blu Promotions, and characterized by massive technical knockouts.
John Laryea, aka, the expensive boxer, technically defeated Michael tagoe in their ten rounder featherweight contests.
Tagoe had a cut in round 6, leading to his corner advising that the bout be stopped to save their boxer.
John Laryea remained unbeaten in 12 professional fights, with one drawn.
Crowd puller Daniel Gorsh extended his professional records to five wins by defeating veteran George Krampah in a fourth-round knockout to claim the National Super Bantamweight Championship belt.
In other bouts, Nathaniel Sosu failed withstand to pressure and punches from Sylvanus Tsagli, whiles David Okine lost to Issah Inusah.
Issah Awal of ‘The Gym’ also beat Amadu Seidu with Victori Kemervor anlso knocking out Raymond Ansah.
Nathaniel Nukpe from the Volta region also defeated Kpakpo Allotey while heavyweight Ishmael Djan seen off Nii Ashong Richard, with Francis Gakpetor over powering Jonathan Malm.
The national heavyweight Champion and drummer, Osumanu Haruna also won his fight against Daniel Aduku with veteran, Ben ‘congo soldier’ Ankrah was disqualified for ethical misconduct against his Nigerian opponent, Sampson Solomon who was declared the winner.
The Dezone Beach Resort has proven to be another wonderful venue for boxing and fans had much to cheer.
