Sharaf Mahama’s Legacy Rise Sports Promotions is making another major international move, joining forces with some of boxing’s established promotional names for a blockbuster fight night in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Legacy Rise Sports Promotions is listed among the promoters for the event alongside Zanfer Promotions, Sampson Boxing and Tello Boxing, putting Mahama’s fast-growing Ghanaian boxing brand on an increasingly global stage.
The card will have strong Ghanaian interest, with undefeated featherweight contender John “Expensive Boxer” Laryea facing Argentina’s Adrian Maximiliano Robledo in one of the night’s biggest clashes.
The World Boxing Association officially lists Laryea-Robledo as a WBA featherweight eliminator, giving the Ghanaian an enormous opportunity to push himself closer to world-title contention. Laryea enters with an unbeaten 17-0-1 record.
The event is loaded with international talent.
French Olympic star Sofiane Oumiha is scheduled to battle Freddy Lainez, while Spain’s Samuel Carmona takes on Venezuelan fighter Josber Perez in a WBA Inter-Continental flyweight contest.
