The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has rescued twenty-six victims and arrested nine suspects in a joint operation with QNET International.

The operation, codenamed “Operation Quest,” was conducted on Friday, October 17, 2025, around 10:30 a.m., following intelligence that some foreigners and Ghanaians had been trafficked under the pretence of securing employment with QNET, a reputable company dealing in wellness and lifestyle products.

The suspects, comprising two Ivorians and seven Ghanaians, are alleged to have lured the victims, ten Ivorians and sixteen Ghanaians, with false promises of lucrative jobs. All nine suspects are currently in EOCO custody, assisting with ongoing investigations.

In a statement, EOCO cautioned the public against individuals and groups posing as QNET agents promising employment in Ghana or abroad. The office urged citizens to promptly report such cases to law enforcement agencies.

This operation follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed in July 2025 between EOCO and QNET aimed at cracking down on criminal networks misusing QNET’s name to perpetrate human trafficking and related offences.
