A former minister of state in the erstwhile John Agyekum Kuffour administration, Kwame Pianim, says the wrong interpretation of some traditional adages is destroying Ghana.
Addressing a media award ceremony in Accra, the renowned economist insisted that misconstruing the traditional adage that literarily means suggests that elders cannot err, has blinded the youth from standing against the ills of the present leadership.
Kwame Pianim, maintained that leaders must be told in plain language that they are going wrong in order to make them sit up.
He again admonished leaders against seeing themselves as above the law, adding that it is only the rule of law that can deliver the changes that the country needs.
