Heading over to boxing, former chief executive officer of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Mohammed Nii Adjei Sowah, has voiced his disappointment over the inability of Ghanaian boxers to win world titles.

He further noted that providing enough assistance for the growth of Ghana boxing is key to reverse the trend.

As a result of Richard Commey and Isaac Dogboe losing back-to-back matches within a week, Ghana’s bid to recover boxing global glory once more came to a crashing halt.

Numerous other boxers have also fallen short of success or lost what they had.

For mohammed nii adjei sowah, having potential is never a problem; but knowing how to support, develop, and prepare the talent.

Nii Adjei Sowah made the comments when he donated to the Ghana boxing federation some training kits, which included two boxing rings.

President of the greater Accra regional boxing association, Evans Bernie Johnson, praised the former Accra metro chief executive for the gesture.

Vice president of the Ghana boxing federation, Dauda Fuseini, wants the government to respond to the demands of boxing more quickly.
