
The Regional Police Command has launched efforts to identify and apprehend perpetrators of violence during the Ablekluma North Re-run on Friday July 11, 2025.
the command warns that anyone found to have engaged in violence, intimidation or any breach of the peace will be prosecuted by the law.
The Police Command has confirmed several isolated incidents of violence, including cases of assault and disorder, during the Ablekuma North parliamentary re-run.
According to preliminary reports, these incidents led to temporary disruptions at some polling stations, though police officers intervened swiftly to restore calm and allow voting to continue without further interruption.
The public is urged to assist the investigation by providing information on those involved.

The statement signed by the regional public relations officer, superintendent Juliana Obeng, reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding electoral processes and ensuring public safety.
