VIP Jeoun Transport Commissions 35 New Executive Buses to Boost Safety and Comfort

VIP Jeoun Transport Company Limited has commissioned 35 brand new 42-seater executive buses into active service, significantly expanding its fleet and reinforcing its commitment to safe, reliable, and comfortable road transport in Ghana.

Speaking to Citi News on Sunday, January 4, the General Manager of VIP Jeoun Transport Company Limited, Adakabre Frimpong Manso, said the new additions reflect the company’s continuous investment in enhancing passenger comfort while prioritising road safety.

According to him, the newly introduced Higer buses fall into two categories: 42-seater executive coaches and 61-seater standard tour coaches, both specially configured to suit Ghana’s road conditions and long-distance travel needs.

The 61-seater buses are designed as standard tour coaches with a 2+2 seating arrangement, while the 42-seater executive coaches feature a 2+1 seating configuration. The executive coaches provide wider, fully reclining seats with extra legroom, offering superior comfort for long journeys.

Mr. Manso noted that the buses are equipped with advanced, world-class safety features, including three-point seat belts, anti-lock braking systems (ABS), anti-collision technology, and driver monitoring systems aimed at reducing fatigue-related accidents.

He added that the fleet introduces a first-of-its-kind intelligent 360-degree visibility system within the company, complemented by mirror-less camera technology. These innovations significantly enhance driver visibility and situational awareness, further improving road safety.

All the buses are double-axle vehicles fitted with axle helpers, providing greater stability, improved load distribution, and enhanced performance on long-distance routes.

The commissioning of the new buses underscores VIP Jeoun Transport’s commitment to modernising public transportation in Ghana by blending comfort, innovation, and safety to meet the evolving expectations of passengers nationwide.
