Three Arrested, Ammunition Retrieved in Binduri Security Operation

Security agencies in the Upper East Region have arrested three suspects, including a woman, in connection with a recent violent attack in the Binduri District.

The intelligence-led operation led to the retrieval of a significant quantity of ammunition and a motorcycle believed to have been taken from a family whose members were killed during the attack.

According to local sources, the suspects, reported to be Mamprusis, are alleged to have played a role in the killing of a woman and children. Residents are calling on authorities for timely updates as tensions remain high.

Member of Parliament for Binduri, Lawyer Issifu Mamud, has commended the military for their swift intervention and strongly condemned the violence, urging calm as investigations continue.

Security officials have not yet released additional information on the suspects, the motive behind the attack, or the next steps in the investigation.
