The Ghana Police Service has interdicted DSP Alhassan Malaika Jibril over his alleged involvement in a demolition exercise at the Accra Race Course at Borteyman.
The incident occurred on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
Police say the interdiction is to allow for a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the demolition.
The Criminal Investigations Department and the Police Professional Standards Bureau are jointly investigating the matter.
The Police Administration says any person found culpable will be taken through the appropriate legal and disciplinary processes.
