The Kusaug queens association of Bawku have called on the military high command to investigate the alleged involvement of the military deployment in the killing of a nursing mother at Sabon-gari, a suburb of Bawku on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, the military has denied the allegation but says they have intensified investigations to identify the killers.
47 year old Mariama Dauda, was shot at home while going about her normal household shores.
The deceased was on her way to serve her husband a dinner when she was shot dead.
The couple were together in the living room when the husband, Aginga Dauda, asked for his food.
The family, claimed it was the military that shot and killed Mariama.
Based on the information, the queens of Bawku are demanding answers from the military high command.
But the commanding officer, lieutenant colonel Mintah said they have received the report but preliminary investigations have shown that no military officer was involved.
The murder of Mariama, brought to 16, the number of people killed within the spate of four days.
