Hassan Ayariga visits both Kusasis and Mamprusi to appeal for peace among them

Dr. Hassan Ayariga, founder and presidential candidate for the All People’s Congress (APC) for the 2024 general elections visited communities of both Kusasis and Mamprusi to express his concern about current happenings in Bawku. He applauded both sides for maintaining peace in Bawku.

It is the first time such gestures have occurred from any person from Bawku. Dr Hassan Ayariga after launching his campaign took the pain to make such moves and has calmed down tensions in the community. He was welcomed by both parties and was tasked with making sure that peace was maintained in the constituency.

Dr Hassan Ayariga also met with petty traders at the Bawku market and promised them a better economy during his presidency.

He visited the Bawku township dominated by the Mamprusi’s lorry stations, timber market and many shops and outlets.

Addressing chiefs and people at Bawku in the Upper East Region where he formerly launched his political campaign, Dr Ayariga promised to tackle corruption, poverty, insecurity and mismanagement, when elected president in the December 2024 general elections.

Dr. Hassan Ayariga’s visits have also claimed down tempers between both sides and give some indication of how much both parties can cooperate.
