The Ghana Police Service has celebrated Detective Lance Corporal Confidence Tetteh of the Cybercrime Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for emerging as the Overall Best Level 400 Student in her programme at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
Detective Tetteh, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Social Behaviour and Conflict Management through the University’s College of Distance Education, earned the distinction with an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.8229 during the 2025/2026 academic year.
Her outstanding academic performance also earned her the maiden Provost’s Award, making her the first recipient of the honour in the history of the programme.
The Ghana Police Service commended Detective Tetteh for demonstrating that excellence in public service can be combined with academic achievement.
In a statement, the Service described her as a model of the modern Ghanaian police officer, noting that her success reflects discipline, dedication, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Detective Tetteh serves with the Cybercrime Unit of the CID, where she contributes to investigations into cyber-related offences while pursuing her academic ambitions.
The Police Service congratulated her on the achievement and encouraged other officers to emulate her commitment to personal and professional development.
