The European Union Delegation to Ghana is set to launch a Special Boxing Exhibition fight between Ambassador HE Irchad Ramiandrasoa Razaaly and Ghana’s boxing icon and Africa’s greatest boxer of all time, the boxing professor, Zoom Zoom Azumah Nelson.
The event dubbed “DIPLO RUMBLE” is part of the 2024 European Month celebration, and is aimed to showcase the young boxing talent of the Bukom and its environs to promote Youth Empowerment through sports.
The event is to showcase the EU’s commitment to harnessing the skills and talents of the youth.
There will be 10 other bouts involving Juveniles, Youth and Elite Amateur Boxers with the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) as the main partner.
The EU Ambassador was born in Madagascar’s capital, Antananarivo, and was once an amateur boxer in his native France.
