Food, romance, and exercise all affect body composition. Poor body composition comes from neglect, harmful behaviors, and more. A healthy body shows years of self-discipline and wise decisions. The right body composition and health allow the soldier to maximize technical and physical skills.

Below are criteria that disqualifies a person from joining the Ghana Armed Forces:

Multiple Piercings

No one can join the military if they have several piercings in their ear lobes, lips, eyebrows, or any other potential area. This is due to the fact that the majority of military training exercises and drills are strenuous, and having such projections on your body might seriously harm you or anybody else who comes into contact with it roughly.

Tatoos

Tattoo inks have the potential to result in allergic skin responses. Around the tattooed places or possibly your entire body, they can produce rashes that are frequently itchy. Because of this, the Ghana Armed Forces would not consider candidates who have tattoos on their bodies for positions as servicemen or ladies.

A flat foot

According to the theory that the arch supports weight, those with feet that have a small amount of arch may stand and walk for longer periods of time than those with flat feet. In addition to contributing to knee and ankle issues, flat feet can change how one’s legs are aligned. The Ghana Armed Forces disqualify applicants with flat feet because of this.

Excessively Built Bodies

It is quite clear that a huge body often lacks speed and flexibility. People who excessively build their bodies through workouts or weight lifting are prone to dizziness, restlessness, flushed skin and may have an unusual increase in the rate of their heartbeats and many other possible problems. Out of these factors, people don’t get picked for military work.
