The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) in collaboration with Boxing Writers Association of Ghana (BWAG) is organizing a-day seminar for sports journalists across the country.
The seminar will take place at the Media center of the Accra Sports Stadium between 9:30am and 2pm on Thursday March 9, 2023.
Asumka Hemaa of Adukrom Akuapim, Nana Odiasempa Abena Ayebea Okani, will be the special guest of honor.

The Seminar is being supported by Maxbuy, Happy Life, Renault, Tecno, NSA, TCL and TT Brothers Limited.

Meanwhile, two pre-independence day boxing events are set to rock the capital, Accra.
The first will be an amateur boxing championship at the Bokum boxing arena on Saturday March 4.
It is being put together by the Ghana boxing authority as part of efforts and strategies to present a formidable team to represent Ghana in upcoming international events.
The special challenge bouts will be between the elite national team, the Black bombers and the national youth team, the black rockers.
There will also be special bouts among selected female team members of the Black Hitters.
This event would be followed by a professional event put together by the Greater Accra regional coordinating council in association with the box office sports promotions on Sunday March 5.
The Sunday event is scheduled for Tema New town and has a number of cracked challenges.
Daniel Gosh will be taking on Michael Tagoe in a national super bantamweight championship while Richard Ashong takes on Nii Ashitey Larbie in a light heavyweight contest.
Prince Oko Nartey will also come face to face with bernad Ayittey Tagoe in a national super middleweight championship.
