Six Contingents made up of Ghana Army, the Police, Customs, Immigration and National Fire Services joined the Veterans Administration of Ghana to form the 2022 parade to commemorate the 77th Remembrance Day in Ho, the Volta regional capital.
The Wreath laying ceremony was to honour the Ghanaian Soldiers who lost their lives in the World War II.
The Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Arhibald Yao Letsa laid the first wreath on behalf of the President and the people of Ghana
The Commanding Officer in-charge of 66 Artillery Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Edward Sarpong Appiah laid the second on behalf of the Security Agencies.
Togbe Adanu Sakrafu represented the chiefs and people of Volta Region to lay the third wreath, while the Administrator of Veterans Administration of Ghana, Ex-WO I Kofi Amegbor, laid the last wreath on behalf of Veterans.
