Three suspects have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with a violent robbery at Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region.
The arrests were carried out by the National Operations Directorate (NOD) Surveillance Unit following investigations into a January 18, 2026, home invasion in which two armed robbers attacked a resident and made away with cash, gadgets, and personal valuables.

According to police, the assailants stole two iPhone 17 Pro Max mobile phones, an Apple Watch, a gold necklace, ¢14,000 in cash, a car key, and US$300. The victim was also compelled to log out of his iCloud account on one of the stolen phones before the robbers fled.
The suspects, Francis Amo, also known as Agogo; Anthony Boateng, alias Aisha Kojo; and Musah Ibrahim, known as Coded, have admitted their involvement in the crime. Police say Musah Ibrahim is believed to have acted as a receiver of stolen items.
Exhibits retrieved so far include one iPhone 17 Pro Max, an Apple Watch, and a Samsung Fold phone. A further search at the residence of suspect Anthony Boateng led to the discovery of offensive weapons, including a truncheon, a short machete, knives, scissors, lighters, and a face shield.

The suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with ongoing investigations. Police say efforts are underway to recover the remaining stolen items and track down other individuals linked to the robbery.
The Ghana Police Service has reiterated its commitment to tackling violent crime and assuring public safety across the country.
