Police Restore Calm after Chieftaincy Violence in Sampa

The Ghana Police Service has restored calm in Sampa, Bono Region, after violent chieftaincy clashes on September 10, 2025, left one person dead and several others injured.

The Inspector-General of Police has deployed reinforcement teams to the area to maintain law and order, while patrols have been intensified in Sampa and surrounding communities to prevent further escalation.

Authorities say security has been beefed up as investigations into the incident continue.
