The zongo community and the chief imam of the Ashanti area have launched a drive to ensure that every home has access to at least one toilet facility.
According to the national plan, at least 7,000 restroom facilities have been built within the Kumasi Metropolis between august and September alone.
Therefore, the Ashanti regional Imams’ action made excited the sanitation ministry happy, and as a result, they now have their support.
