The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect for making inciteful comments capable of undermining peace in Bawku and its surrounding communities.
The suspect, Raphael Azare Kariyama, was arrested through an intelligence-led operation aimed at monitoring and curbing the spread of content that incites violence or threatens public order and national security.

He is currently in police custody and will be arraigned before the court to face the full rigours of the law. Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to identify and arrest other accomplices connected to the incident.
The Ghana Police Service has cautioned the general public to refrain from making, publishing, or sharing inciteful comments, stressing that such actions pose a serious threat to peace and national security.
