The Police after nearly a week of sustained intelligence-led operation have arrested the key suspects involved in the murder of Imoro Sherrif, the soldier who was found dead at Ashiaman Taifa on 4th March, 2023.
“This is solely police intelligence work,” the Police said in a short statement on Friday March 10.
Imoro Sherrif’s body was found in a pool of blood near the Amania Hotel in Ashaiman and suspected to have been stabbed to death.
The Military High Command on Tuesday March 7, sanctioned an a so called intelligence-led operation to fish out the perpetrators of the crime.
The operation turned out brutalizing, dehumanizing and torturing innocent residents, travelers, and other passersby.
In the end 184 people were rounded up and taking to military camps.
The deceased soldier was laid to rest on Thursday, March 9.
