Cabic Promotions serves boxing fans an action-packed night as Big Fight Night – December Edition comes off on Monday evening, 29th December 2025, at the Idrowhyt Events Centre, Dansoman.
The bill features some of Ghana’s toughest and most exciting fighters, including Kofi Dana, Emmanuel Mankatah, Benjamin Lamptey, Michael Darko, and a mouth-watering top-liner between Samuel Dowuona, aka “Zongo Fire,” and Olympic bronze medalist Samuel Takyi, known as “Ring Warrior.”
Gate charges are affordable at ¢30 and ¢50, with the Idrowhyt Events Centre offering a full entertainment experience, drinks, food, swimming, and fitness activities, to complement the boxing action.
Speaking ahead of the event, aspiring Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) President Ivan Bruce Cudjoe said Ghana boxing is making a strong comeback. He praised the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC), the Ministry, and the National Sports Authority for their efforts so far.
Cudjoe pledged a brighter future for boxers from 2026 and beyond, promising better fight opportunities and improved purses. He also revealed plans to return boxing to the Bukom Boxing Arena, noting that current venues are becoming too small due to growing fan interest.
He further commended Sharaf Mahama and Legacy Rise Sports for their recent Showdown event and called on more promoters to collaborate with local promotions to stage bigger and better boxing shows in Ghana. He urged boxers to deliver strong performances, stressing that there is significant money in boxing when it is well organised.
Supporting his remarks, Ellis Quaye, General Manager of Cabic Promotions, said the outfit is committed to quality promotions, quality boxers, and quality performances. He applauded super lightweights Samuel Takyi and Samuel Dowuona for agreeing to headline the event.

- Edward Laryea vs Samuel Danso – Welterweight
- Isaac Kakraba vs Isaac Aryeetey – Super Featherweight
Also featuring on the night is Haidar Al Birak, with his opponent yet to be announced.
All roads lead to Idrowhyt Events Centre, Dansoman, this Monday for an unforgettable night of boxing action.
