The health of Brazilian football star Pele, who has been hospitalized for almost a month, is still on the thoughts of many people around the world.
The 82-year-old was hospitalized in November due to worsening symptoms of the colon cancer he was diagnosed with in September. Later, it was reported that he had been transported to a Sao Paulo hospital for end-of-life care.
The Albert Einstein Hospital, where Pele has been getting care since his hospitalization, stated in a statement issued last week that his condition has worsened due to renal and cardiac failure.
He however died today, Thursday, December 29, 2022.Â
