Boxing League:Ghana Armed Forces Maintains lead after Fight Night 4 (Video)

The Ghana armed forces dropped a point in the ongoing Ghana professional boxing league but remains top on the league table with 10 points.

The fight night 4 super welterweight contest between Vandorf Okrah and the bridge foundation’s Godwin Tetteh ended in a split draw.

The super welterweight contest over six rounds was the penultimate bout of fight night four of the Ghana professional boxing season two.

The contest between Vandorf Okrah and the bridge foundation’s Godwin Tetteh was a closely fought battle though many believed Okrah was ahead in most of the rounds.

However, two of the judges scored for each boxer with the third recording a draw leaving the result in a split draw.

The outcome notwithstanding, the Ghana armed forces gym maintained the top position on the league table with 10 points.

Attoh Quarshie moved to second position with nine points without a contest on the night as the opponent from the Black Panthers gym failed to make the weight.

Akotoku academy maintained its third place on the league table also with nine points followed by Bronx, Panix and the prison service, all with nine points apiece.

Wisdom gym and the defending champions, Charles Quartey Boxing Foundation both have six points and are placed seven and eight on the table having won two of the four contests so far.

The bridge foundation occupied the ninth position with four points having drawn in the fight night four challenge against the Ghana armed forces.

Seconds out gym gave fit square its first win in season two to share the 10th and 11th places with 3 points each along with Black Panthers, and Sea View gyms.

Palm Springs gym remained at the bottom of the table with zero points out of four contests.
