BECE: Police Arrest two for Examination Malpractices in central Region

The arrest occurred on Monday august 7, at the Dunkwa Secondary Technical Centre in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality in the Central Region.

The two suspects according to the police, were allegedly engaging in examination malpractices.

The two, Albert Adu-Gyan and Yaw Adadai, both teachers of Peeble Calvary and Oxford Santech schools, were arrested when they attempted to smuggle into the examination hall, some solved examination questions to candidates sitting the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) at the centre.

Both suspects are in custody assisting in further investigations and will be put before the court.

The West Africa Examination Council reminds and caution the public that it is crime to indulge in examination malpractices including the ongoing BECE as the Police will arrest any persons found involved in such practices.
