The Ghana Police Service has arrested three additional suspects in connection with the robbery of the Adabraka Gold Jewellery Shop, following months of sustained surveillance and intelligence-led operations.
The arrests were carried out on Monday, January 19, 2026, in Ashaiman.
The suspects have been identified as Nashiru Abubakari, also known as Soldier; Fatao Mohammed, popularly referred to as Motorway; and a third suspect known as 50 Cent.

Their arrest brings the total number of suspects apprehended in the case to seven, following the earlier arrest of four key suspects linked to the high-profile robbery.
Police sources say investigations are ongoing, with intensified efforts to track down other accomplices believed to have played roles in the crime. Officers are also working to retrieve exhibits connected to the robbery as part of the broader investigation.
The suspects are currently in police custody and are expected to be processed for court in accordance with the law.
The Ghana Police Service has reiterated its commitment to dismantling criminal networks and bringing all persons involved in violent and organised crimes to justice.
