The leader of Sung Biela Foundation, Poanab Hajia Zenabu Awimbe Ndebugri, is calling for an all hands-on deck to find a lasting solution to the bawku conflict.
Poanab Hajia Zenabu Awimbe Ndebugri, made these remarks when she presented food items to some widows of the bawku conflict and other vulnerable.
The Bawku conflict has been ongoing for some time.
23 people have been killed within the last seven days in the renewed conflict, with dozens rendered homeless.

On Sunday December 25, over 900 widows and persons with disabilities, benefited from the ‘Sung Biela Foundation’, presentation of some items to some widows in Bawku.
The items presented by the non-governmental include food products, use clothing, cooked food and many others.
The leader of ‘Sung Biela Foundation’, Poanab Hajia Zenabu Awimbe Ndebugri, expressed worry over the continuous killings in Bawku and called for an immediate seize fire and the return of peace.
She was particularly worried about the killing of women and children.
In a related development, the upper east regional women organizer and coordinator for school feeding programme, Georgina Ayamba, celebrated Christmas with children at the children and labour wards at the Bawku west district hospital in the upper east region.
The upper east women’s wing leader urged parents to show love to their children by creating a unique platform for dialogue in order to win their trust.
Georgina Ayamba, promised to lobby for the provision of incubators to the NICU unit of the hospital.
The maternity ward of the Bawku west district hospital was built under the current government, but yet to be fully equipped with all the necessary tools.
