A military vehicle with registered number 20GA61, was involved in an accident in the early hours of Monday, December 26 around Avengo, a suburb of Bawku.
The military officers were reportedly on a routine patrols when the accident occurred according to eyewitnesses.
The two peronnel onboard the vehicle sustained various degrees of injuries and were rushed to the vineyard hospital in Bawku.
The two were reportedly receiving treatment and are in stable condition.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known
The military deployment have been opearting within the bawku municipality along with the police, national security and other security services since november 21, 2021 when the renewed chieftancy conflict erupted.

Hundreds of residents and visitors have been killed in the conflict so far including a female police officer, women and children.
