There is a new campaign against the controversial national cathedral project ready to hit the streets of Accra and picket at the Parliament House, and it is being led by one Selorm Dramani Dzamado, on behalf of a pressure group, Justice for Ghana.
Did you Know that; The Executive Director of the Cathedral Project Dr. Paul Opoku-Mensah is on the payroll of the office of the President and is paid monthly with taxpayers money?
Did you know that the original idea of building a cathedral was not mooted by President Akufo Addo as a personal pledge to God for winning an election?
Did you Know that; the building of a Cathedral was a plan originated by the Director Religious Affairs of the NPP late Rev. Dr. Asante-Antwi, also a founding member of the NPP, to woo Christian Voters to vote for the NPP in general elections and BREAK THE EIGHT?
Did you Know that; the late Rev. Dr. Asante-Antwi was given an office at the Jubilee House for the purpose of actualizing the Cathedral?
Rev. Dr. Asante-Antwi was born in a small Akyem Abuakwa village called Moseasi on Saturday, 22nd May, 1937.
Rev. Dr. Asante-Antwi, former Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church died at age 83 on Sunday, 13th September, 2020 without fulfilling the Cathedral Project, and considered a disgrace by the Okyehene.
Rev. Dr. Asante-Antwi was the Chairman of the NPP Council of Elders and also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cathedral.
Rev. Dr. Asante-Antwi was a member of the Council of State under President Kufuor, an avowed critic of President Rawlings and credited with the propaganda of a fake “HIT LIST” he alleged to have been compiled by President Rawlings…

The Cathedral which President Akufo Addo promised will be built without any State Funds, has become a bottomless pit consuming Ghana’s scarce state funds.
Every day a new idea pops up in the heads of Akufo Addo’s Cathedral team led by Gay LGBTQI Advocate David Adjaye, with a new cost, Replica of Garden of Eden, Replica Wailing Wall and Replica if the Bible Museum…,
David Adjaye has been illegally paid upfront over GHc113million of the GHc339million so far spent on the Cathedral Project from the public purse…
The Cathedral was in 2019 estimated to cost $100million [by Ken Ofori-Atta], in 2021 the cost increased to $200million [by Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng] then in 2022 further increased to $350million [by Ken Ofori-Atta] and now $400million.
The revenue expected to be collected by the KumePreko Leader, President Akufo Addo’s intended increase in the Value Added Tax [extra 2.5% VAT] and the E-LEVY, is expected to be spent on Fanciful projects like the Cathedral which has been already allocated 80million in the 2023 Budget.
The Fanciful projections of revenue to be gained from imaginary Christian Tourists expected to visit the Cathedral upon completion, is as warp as the failed E-LEVY projected revenue inflow…
The Cathedral Project construction started with the demolition of many very expensive private and public buildings including judges accommodation necessitating their relocation at extra cost.

The Prime Land earmarked gor the Cathedral, which per Article 20 (5) (6) of the Constitution of Ghana must be returned to the Original Land Owners was being litigated with an injunction at the time when the contemptuous construction work started.

When the Okyehene recently appealed for support for the Fanciful Cathedral project claiming it would be a disgrace if the Cathedral Project was not completed before President Akufo Addo left office, who was he expecting to pay?

Justice For Ghana will be picketing Parliament and the Controversial Cathedral on 20th and 21st December, 2022.
The 2-Day picketing is scheduled to coincide with the debate and vote on the BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS on the TAX BILLS of the VAT & E-LEVY and the 80million budgeted for the Cathedral Project.
