Shields and Savannah Marshall were slated to face off against each other earlier this month. However, the fight got postponed following the unfortunate passing of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Now the fight has a new date; the two will square off inside the ring on October 15th, at the O2 Arena in London.

The two rivals will get a chance to become the undisputed middleweight world champion. It is no news that Shields is often trolled by fans for her low knockout power. However, she is confident that she will prove herself in this fight. Shields said“I’m going to quieten all the doubters about my knockout power, my skills and all my accomplishments.”

Even Marshall is pretty confident about defeating Shields. She stated, “I’ve said I’m going to hurt you and I will. You’re nothing but a bully, that’s what you are. Of course I have respect for Claressa, what she doesn’t like is I have an opinion.”

Well, both the fighters seem eager to take on one another. What makes it more interesting is that both of them have the same undefeated record of 12-0. Only time will tell now how this much-anticipated fight plays out.
