More Galamsey Arrests: Three Chinese, Six Ghanaians and Three Excavators in Police custody
Nine more persons including three Chinese nationals and six Ghanaians have been arrested in the western region for their involvement in illegal mining activities popularly known as galamsey.
The arrest in the wee hours of Friday august 9, led to the retrieval of three more excavators and three weapons (pump action guns) in an anti-galamsey operation.
All the nine suspects together with the exhibits have been taken to the western regional police command custody for further investigations and action.
