Alfred ‘Show Time’ Lamptey returns to the Bukom Boxing Arena on Friday, June 10 for the IBF Continental Africa Jr. Lightweight championship against Muksini Swalehe of Tanzania.
The undefeated SWAG professional boxer of the year is aiming to win his 6th title after grabbing the National, WABU, WBC World Silver, WBO youth, WBC Youth World, and UBO Africa titles.
The bill is by courtesy, of Box Office Sports Promotion in collaboration with Parabellum.
Alfred’s opponent, Muksini Swalehe had (9-1-1-1) in 11 professional career fights. The only defeat he suffered was in the hands of Ghana-based Nigerian Joshua Oluwaseun Wahab in Lagos last year.
There would be other exciting bouts featuring the best boxers from Bukom and James Town.
The bill will host five other bouts as twenty-three (23) year old sensational Henry Malm (4-0, 4KOs) locks horns with Joseph Tagoe (2-1, 2KOs) in 6 rounds Welterweight contest.
Braimah Kamoko alias Bukom Banku (30-1, 23KOs) will for the first-time fight in the heavyweight division against Isaac Paakwesi Ankrah (14-9, 12KOs) in an 8-round contest.
Issifu Yusiff Seidu (7-0, 7KOs) will battle Isaac Duwuona (8-3, 6KOs) in a 12 round Super Feather contest, whilst Sheriff Quaye and John Laryee fight in a lightweight and featherweight divisions respectively against opponents yet to be named.
The whole nation of Ghana is backing Alfred Lamptey to win.
