Four Ada SHS Students Arrested Over Viral Cutlass Threat Video

The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested four students of Ada Senior High Technical School following a viral video showing some students wielding cutlasses and allegedly threatening other students on campus.

According to police, the incident came to their attention at about 12:10 a.m. on May 22, 2026, after the video surfaced online. A police night patrol team was immediately dispatched to the school to intervene.

With support from school authorities, police arrested three students identified as Raymond Gyamfi, Oscar Amemoat, and Odartey Wilson, all aged 18, together with a juvenile who was also captured in the video.

The suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with the investigation.

Police have advised students to use established school structures to peacefully resolve disagreements and avoid acts of violence, intimidation, or the possession of offensive weapons on campus.

The Command also urged parents and school authorities to strengthen supervision, discipline, and guidance among students to ensure safety and order in schools.

The Tema Regional Police Command says investigations are ongoing and further updates will be communicated in due course.
