Tiger Eye Foundation, a non-profit media organisation that champions investigative journalism, and founded by ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has published yet another explosive documentary set in Nigeria, exposing police brutality meted out to protesters three years ago.

In October 2020, during the #EndSARS movement, young Nigerians poured onto the streets. Their unified call was clear: an end to police brutality and the disbandment of the infamous Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

Their voices were met with resistance as the protests ended painfully.

Countless protesters faced unlawful arrests, torture, and tragically, death at the hands of security forces.

In this documentary, reporter Abisola Alawode goes behind-the-scenes, highlighting the brave individuals who risked everything for a brighter Nigeria. He also captures the moments of hope and assesses the enduring impact of the protests through heartfelt accounts of several men and women.

Three years later, a critical question remains: Has there been real change? Is police brutality now a thing of the past?
