The Akwatia District Police Command has launched investigations into an alleged assault on Alhaji Masawudu Osman, a respected community member, which occurred on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
According to police sources, Alhaji Masawudu reported the incident and was subsequently issued with a medical form to seek treatment and secure a medical report as part of the investigation process. The case has since been referred to the Eastern South Regional Police Command for further handling.
