Kevin Abraham Carter – Darling and Deadly Kid on the Block

Kevin Abraham Carter is one of Ghana’s rising stars in Boxing.

He is under the management of Legacy Rise Sports owned by Sharaf Mahama and boxing fans have tipped him as a future champion.

Carter quit university where he was doing a BSc course in Real Estate Management to go fully into boxing when he realised his talent, skill and desire for fame and fortune.

The product of Star World JHS and St. Augustine’s College was playing basketball before deciding to shift to boxing, but the athletic budding star is capable of playing other sports like football. skating, playing snooker and doing track & field.

He was on Omashi TV last Friday to gain his first experience on television and he loved the exciting exclusive show.

According of Carter 23, initially his parents did not like to see him boxing but when they saw his performance with deadly punches and determination, they have given him the blessings to go out and do what he loves best.

He has so far fought six times as a professional and won all by knock out, however he had so many lessons in his first and only amateur bout which was an unfortunate loss.

He told Your Truly he wants to give Ghana a world title. “My aim and mission is to become a world champion, and I love the game” he said.

Carter who fights in the super welterweight to super middleweight class is described as dread and deadly due to his powerful precise punches and he gives much credit to his trainer, Coach Kwame at the Fit Trip Gym.

Carter said there are many good boxers, and he is very glad that boxing fans encourage the best.
