Ho Readies for 66th Independence Celebration (Video)

The Volta regional security council has prohibited the use of tricycles in some parts of the ho municipality until further notice.

Chief executive of ho municipality, divine Bosso disclosed this at a media briefing ahead of the 66th Independence Day celebration to held at ho.

Being the host of the 66th independence anniversary celebration, the ho municipality is undergoing a major facelift.

Potholes have along the main streets have been patched and roads reshaped, with streetlights in Ho also fixed.

Security has also been beefed up to ensure a peaceful anniversary celebration.

The ho municipal chief executive, divine Bosso, also announced the ban on the operations of pragya and okada in parts of the ho municipality.

22 contingents of the Ghana armed forces, other security agencies, and 12 selected basic and second cycle schools from the Volta region are scheduled to participate in the anniversary parade at the youth resource centre at Adaklu.
