The dean of school of engineering at the university of Ghana, who doubles as the national science and math quiz mistress, Elsie Effah Kaufmann, ia making a case for strong state support for science and robotic education in order to fast track the country’s development.

Speaking at the 2023 annual impact round table and robotic competition in Accra, she noted that governance lip service and politician vindictiveness have hurt education enough and must be eliminated forthwith.
