The second edition of the female boxing tournament aimed at combating teenage pregnancy is set to happen in October 2022.
The boxing for the good initiative is organized by the Greater Accra Boxing Association with support from the World Boxing Council Cares (WBC CARES) and the African Boxing Union (ABU).
The fight event will be preceded by monthly workshops and boxing at your doorstep events that are aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of teenage pregnancy as well as providing girls in Ghana interested in boxing an opportunity to show their skills to the World.
The monthly workshop or bookcases will include sessions by internationally recognized female trailblazers in boxing.
Registration for GIRLS BOX 2022 is now open.
The 2022 edition will feature 39 female boxers and is open to ladies fighting within the West African sub-region.

The Official Launch of the 2022 edition of the GIRLS BOX will be announced in June 2022.
Female boxers in Ghana and other West African countries are encouraged to sign up through their clubs.
