The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into a viral TikTok video in which an individual is heard issuing threats against the President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama, and the First Lady.
Two suspects, identified as Prince Ofori and Yayra Abiwu, are currently in police custody assisting with the investigation. Authorities say efforts are ongoing to locate and question other individuals believed to be connected to the video.
The Police have assured the public that all threats against national leaders will be treated with the utmost seriousness and investigated thoroughly in accordance with the law.
