2020 Olympian Shakul Samed is calling out all Ghanaians including the Islamic communities and all boxing fans to come and support him in the upcoming fight against Burkinabé boxer Sou Toke as an undercard on the SALAFEST Boxing Event dubbed “Return of the Beast”.
Shakul has been improving steadily, dropping opponents since his professional debut in 2022. He came from a very excellent amateur backdrop having represented Ghana at several international competitions and won SWAG BEST BOXER.
Speaking exclusively with Boxing Ghana about his preparations, here is what he had to say, knowing what’s ahead of him
“I have been in the gym couple of weeks now getting things done to put up a great show for myself, my family and the management team because this will be historic for fighting on the same bill with my senior brother Bastie Samir. So I can’t wait to put up a great performance on the night”.
“It’s going to be a great night seeing the Samir brothers sharing the same ring and also putting up a great show for Ghanaians because we are all fighting against foreign opponents we will need everyone’s support so come in your numbers during this historical moment. Believe me or not, my opponent will go down”.
Shakul Samed took the opportunity to thank his team
