Nana Adjei Clinton (3-1) is grateful for the opportunity to showcase himself at this year’s Salafist boxing event dubbed “Return of the Beast”.
The 23-year-old Clinton has expressed gratitude to his team for the support in his professional career. The boxer who resides in Ashaiman has expressed that it’s not been easy for him to pursue a boxing career.
“Each day, I come to Wisdom Boxing Gym in Accra, and I’m happy I am starting to see results”.
Clinton makes his return to the ring after a TKO win over highly experienced Felix Mankattah on the Box Office Sports Promotions’ Independence Eve Card.
Clinton plans to remain active in 2024, starting with his bout against Togolese local champion Fioklu Dogbevi. Dogbevi, who has been very vocal on social media, has vowed to stop the Ghanaian in 2 rounds.
Clinton has declined to comment as he said he’s focused on showing his action in the ring.
Speaking on Clinton’s readiness, Coach Frank Addo observed he has been working hard and sees improvement in him with each fight, “he’s one to keep an eye on”.
Boxing enthusiasts in Ashaiman and its environs are invited to come out and cheer on one of their own.
The salafest happens on April 13, 2024.
