The police have arrested the last suspect in the recent Kasoa Mobile money robbery, which occurred on December 20, 2022.
The arrest of suspect, Ahmed, aka, ‘Arrested’, occurred on Monday January 2, 2023 at Nyanyano near Kasoa in the Central Region.
His arrest followed sustained Police investigations and intelligence operations.
This brings to four, the number of suspects so far arrested in connection with the daylight Momo robbery.
Ahmed is currently in police custody assisting investigation and will be put before court.
Meanwhile, the two of the first three suspects arrest earlier in connection with the case have been remanded into police custody to reappear on Thursday January 12, 2023.
The third supect, Godfred Okine, reportedly fell sick while in custody and was rushed to the hospital but died while receiving medical attention.
His body has been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
