Scores of residents in the Oforikrom constituency in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, on Saturday demonstrated against slow pace of development in the area.
The mass exercise was spearheaded by a group calling itself, the concerned youth of Oforikrom.
Police on two occasions have to be swift to avert violence clashes between the demonstrators and some pro-npp youth who opposed to the mass action.
