Northern Ghana Prepares for a Grand Celebration of Cultural Oneness Festival

Northern Regional capital, Tamale, sets to host the 2024 Cultural Oneness Festival to champion cultural diversity and unification of the African people’s home and the diaspora.

The Cultural Oneness Festival intends to strengthen our Kingdoms and communities by highlighting our commonalities and leveraging our unique traditions, arts, and music to nurture local development and allure tourism and investment.

The Cultural Oneness Festival, scheduled for November 13th – 16th, will involve cultural tours, especially tourist sites in the northern part of the country, cultural fusing durbar with traditional rulers, their people and communities.

It will also feature a business development seminar to empower the youth in entrepreneurship, durbar and fashion shows.

It is organised by The Taste Of Afrika Ltd. on the theme: “Leveraging Our Strength for Shared Growth and Prosperity”.

Below are the activities in the upcoming 2nd edition of the Cultural Oneness Festival.

13th November 2024 – Cultural Roots Tours in the sacred places in Northern Ghana. Namely; Pikworo Slave Camp, Paga Crocodile Pond, Salaga and Saakpuli Slave Market, Et Al.

14th November 2024 – Developmental Durbar for Kingdoms Unification and Prosperity at Radach Hotel, Tamale.

15th November 2024 –  Youth Empowerment Development Forum to address digital space penetration of Northern Ghana and Fashion Show all will take place at Tamale UDS campus.

16th November 2024 – A visit to Tolon Naa Palace and a site tour of the Ancestral Homes Community Project.
