The Chairman for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, aka, General Mosquitoes, appears to be creating more confusion about the recent unpopular changes made to the leadership of the minority caucus in parliament.

Responding to questions from the London Party wing during a visit the United Kingdom, the longest ever general secretary of the NDC said they were compelled to make the changes to the frontline because members of the leadership have failed to cooperate with the speaker.

‘why did we struggle to have a member of the NDC elected as the speakers of the house? There are certainly some advantages, and those advantages can be tapped into when your leadership is cooperating with the speaker’. He stressed.

He added that it is not right to have the NPP leadership cooperating with the speaker and their NDC leadership have challenges cooperating with the speaker.

This was obviously a departure from his earlier explanation that the party needed to put its best foot forward siunce the debate leading to the 2024 elections would be on the economy.

The question many are asking is which of the two explanations is the true reason for the unpopular change to the NDC leadership in parliament?

The video available to paqmediagh have Johnson Asiedu Nketia, aka, General Mosquitoes first responding to queries regarding the now banned Assin North member of parliament, James Gyakye Quayson.
