Robeisy Ramirez outpoints Isaac Dogboe to Claim the Vacant WBO Featherweight Title

The Ghanaian falls short in his attempt to begin a two-division world champion.

The tale of the fight was that the Cuban was just too much for Isaac Dogboe, scoring a unanimous decision win over the former IBF world champion.

Ramirez brought along, accuracy, skill, ring craftsmanship that worked against Isaac Dogboe.

The judges were unanimous in their decision, 117-110, 118-109, 119-108.

Isaac Royal Storm Dogboe came to the fight with a weight of 124.6 lbs, whilst Robeisy Ramirez made 125.6Ibs for the WBO featherweight world title fight at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Saturday night.

The defeat is a great loss to Dogboe and Ghana.

Both Country and Dogboe were hoping to restart a new journey in world boxing.

There was so much hope in Dogboe ahead of the Saturday night championship.

It is uncler what the immediate steps the boxer and his team would be taking after this defeat.

Meanwhile, Isaac Dogboe has apologized to his fans and Ghana for losing the WBO featherweight title to the two-time Olympic Champion, Robeisy Ramirez of Cuba.

Dogboe thanked God Almighty for the opportunity, showed gratitude to his corner and apologized to Coach Barry Hunter as well as congratulated winner, Ramirez.

 “We didn’t get the decision today, but we will be definitely be back”

“I guess I was the aggressor but maybe, I didn’t push hard enough as my fans expected me to push, but we shall be back” he stressed.
